Rate of Abortion per Capita

The WHO (World Health Organization) counted the teenage pregnancy cases. However, these numbers are estimated as it is hard to count every single young mother out of the billions of people on the earth. Based on their intel and information gathered, the statistics created by WHO calculated that each year, there are approximately 16 000 000 (sixteen million) females at the age of 15-19 years old are undergoing pregnancy. More than that, pregnant females under the age of 15 years old are estimated to be around 1 000 000 each year (one million). From 2020 alone, 30 800 000 (thirty million and eight hundred thousand) abortions happened from January 1 until present time. This statistic is based on every age.

Another estimated roughly 121 million unintended pregnancies occurred each year between 2015 and 2019. Of these unintended pregnancies, 61% ended in abortion. This translates to 73 million abortions per year.
